Unofficial apps are more harmful for you and your mobile then North Korea as it is not scanned by trusted site like Google, you may feel consequences when downloading these apps which are:

To avoid all of these I would suggest you to not download from unsupported apk’s which cost you in the end, every month check your phone to see you don’t have any unwanted apps keep using trusted antiviruses.

When you granted permission either to play store app or some other platforms you should check on allow only when using the app which is better option and much safer than allowing to be tracked all the time. It is not available in android 9 (pie) and below and for apple IOS 13 and below.
